Getting Started
How do you decide which universities to recommend?
Our fee is flat regardless of which countries your child applies to — so there’s never a financial reason for us to steer you toward one option over another. Every recommendation is based purely on where we genuinely believe your child will thrive.
What if my child decides to apply abroad after we've started with Indian Universities Advisory?
What makes your approach different from a larger consultancy?
We’re a boutique practice — we work with a small number of students at a time, through personal, one-on-one counseling. Our approach is strength-based: we start with who your child genuinely is, not a template, and build goals and guidance around that.
What if my child isn't sure what they want to study yet?
How involved do parents need to be in the process?
What if we disagree with your recommendation?
What's the difference between Career Exploration and End-to-End Advisory?
Can we start at any grade, or is there an ideal time to begin?
You can start at any grade, but earlier genuinely does make a difference. A student who begins in Grade 8 or 9 has years to build a profile shaped by real interests and strengths — not a rushed one assembled in a few months before applications are due. It also means subject choices, extracurriculars, and even entrance exam preparation can be planned deliberately, rather than reactively. Starting early doesn’t just widen university options — it widens scholarship eligibility too, since many merit-based scholarships reward sustained, demonstrated commitment, not last-minute polish.
Do you guarantee admission to a specific university?
No — and any consultant who promises this isn’t being honest with you. We bring our full expertise and effort to every application, but the final decision always rests with the university’s admissions committee, which is outside anyone’s control.
How many students do you work with at a time?
We intentionally keep our cohort small. Quality of attention matters more to us than the number of students we take on.
Do you offer sessions online, in person, or both?
Currently, all sessions are conducted online — which means we can work with families anywhere, on a schedule that fits real life. In-person sessions will be introduced in the future as we expand; if that’s something you’d prefer, feel free to ask us directly about availability.
How many universities can my child apply to?
Is pricing the same for India and study-abroad applications?
No — Indian Universities Advisory and Study Abroad Advisory involve different levels of work, so they’re priced differently.
Do you charge separately for each university application, or is it a package?
It’s a single package covering your child’s full application process, not a per-university fee.
Do you help with transfer applications?
Yes — for undergraduate students looking to move from one university to another, we’re happy to help on a case-by-case basis.
Do you work with school counselors?
We work directly with your family. Anything that needs to be coordinated at the school level — like transcripts or recommendation submissions — is handled by your child directly with their school counselor, which keeps communication simple and avoids overlapping channels.
What's the first step if we want to start?
Book a discovery call — a conversation to understand where your child is and what kind of support makes sense. From there, we’ll walk you through next steps together.
